Diversity
Obama, June 28, 2006 "Given the increasing diversity of America's population, the dangers of sectarianism have never been greater. Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers."
The wording of the Pledge of Allegiance is set in the US Code, at 4 USC 4
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
To the American People, I will say this, that we are not a Jewish nation, are not a Muslim nation, are not a Buddhist nation, are not a Hindu nation, nor will we be anything more than what we were established to be, "one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all", so long as your liberties do not evolve us away from what we are!
...and yet we have been divided by the Federalists and the Non-Federalists, whom have become today, the Democratic, and Republican Parties; The issues now have escalated far beyond just size of Government, creating in it's wake innumerable cracks within Our society, for which they can keep Us divided, and I will endeavor with all that is within me, to find a solution for which both House Democratic and Republican parties can coexist, without the animosity betwixt each other and having affect upon those counterparts within the People of whom they are all representatives thereof!
I will remind you that it is not the purpose of Government to give you what you want individually, and towards thy pleasures, but as a whole to ensure for so long as God shall allow Us to be, a Nation in which we can continue to exist!
On the matter of diversity, I can not tell you with any degree of certainty, what once we were, and were not in times past, but what we are in the present, and that is a nation of many diverse ethnicities coming from all corners of the World. Let this diversity, whether through intention, or otherwise, not become Our vulnerability, but the strength that will allow us to overcome the challenges placed in front of us by they of whom have made themselves slaves to collectivism, and enemies to that individualism out of which Our freedoms were born!
Was it not Patrick Henry that spoke those famous words, "Give me Liberty, or give me death!", ...he should have asked for common sense, for not all that we consider to be Our Liberties, are such that we should have, and there is a popular consensus amongst Us, that if morality has a right to exist, then immorality has an equal right to exist!
Of that which was formerly established, and is recognized by Law (US Code, at 4 USC 4), that we are as thus, "One Nation, Under God", and not thereunder any other god, that "Freedom of Religion" does not protect the worship of any god other than He, as indicated with the capital "G", forming those three letters We acknowledge as the One and Only God of Israel of whom His Everlasting Covenant still remains.
What this means to a diverse People, such as We, is this, that...
...when you go to China, you see Chinese!
...when you go to Korea, you see Koreans!
...when you go to Russia, you see Russians!
...when you go to Japan, you see Japanese!
.
...and when you come to America, thus you will be, American, with no loyalties contrary to that of the American Way of Life!
Why come to Our Country, to change Us into that which you have left behind, unless such was the intention, not to become American, but to invade through peaceful immigration to change Us from within, and this We will not tolerate!
When you leave your respective country to come to America, you are accepting those terms in which we allow you to reside, live, and provide for yourselves, and you're families, in such a way that you're religion, and countries politics do not have an impact upon Our existing Way of Life. What you do in the privacy of your own home, we will not enforce, but you will not build your cathedrals, temples, churches, shrines, alters, or idols in the jurisdiction of Our Land, if you want to remain!
When we go to your country, we must abide by the laws set forth by that Government, we expect no LESS from you! When you come to Our Country, We are not asking you to peel your skin off, only you're politics, and to a certain extent, you're religion, that it does not become a public threat to Our Way of Life. Accommodating new people into America does not infer We have to change who We are to make your stay more pleasant, at the expense of Our Own Way of Life for which We have fought to secure such Rights to exist as so we do!
